Revised Project 2 Guidelines
The revised guidelines for what you have to turn in on Tuesday is available on the projects page.
Basically, you DO NOT have to turn in the comparable JPEG/XHTML ads, but I'm asking you to please include EVERYTHING you have generated/collected for the project on a CD-ROM (could be the same as your assets CD-ROM).
Also, I'd like you to include a memo talking about and self-critiquing your projects, just as you did for Project 1 (although this time around, you don't need to worry about screen shots).

Updated Calendar
I added a few short readings from the textbook to the calendar for tomorrow; they don't contain any information that I didn't mention in class on Tuesday, but are there for your reference.
Also, please be sure to bring some of your material that you're gathering for Project 1, so you can begin to mark it up during class Thursday.

Ways to Spend Your Loan Check
All of the books for this course are in stock and available at Von's--see the people at the front desk. The Policy Statement lists all the titles.
Macromedia Suite MX 2004 is available for $94 at BoilerCopy, as is Creative Suite 2, which is $189. **Again, these are NOT required, but if you want to own these programs, you won't find better prices. As Student X said this morning (sorry I don't know your name yet), they appear to be out of copies of CS2, though. I'm going to purchase that title myself, so I'll let you know when copies are back in stock.

Welcome to Multimedia Writing
You've just completed your first course task by finding the course Website. On this page, you'll always find the latest news about the course, e.g., changes in due dates and assignments, decisions we made in class, etc. I'll also post here if for some reason I'm unable to attend. But that will be rare.
You'll notice that the course calendar is pretty spare right now; because I wait to see what my students are interested in and capable of, the calendar doesn't start looking more robust until the second week of class or so. Stay tuned, and welcome to the course.
